The 2.0TSi is VW’s updated version of the ever popular TFSi engine and came with chain driven timing gear and a revised fuel pump in the MK6 Golf GTi, Scirocco and Octavia VRS. Revo Performance are market leaders in tuning this engine are proud to release their revised High Flow Intake for the 2.0TSi, which now provides even greater flow for all transverse engine models.

This intake has been designed and re-engineered from our previous design to provide ultimate flow. Rigorous real world bench flow testing and computer modeling have optimized the design to provide 25% more flow than its closest competitor.

The three-stage motorsport filter, with an impressive surface area is supported by galvanised, epoxy-coated mesh to ensure that the filter cannot collapse. Its large 150mm outside diameter body and a smooth radius, aluminum bell-mouth provide optimum airflow.

The lightweight aluminium intake pipe work uses the TSi’s OEM MAF housing. To maximize the airspeed through the intake, constant diameter, large radius bends are used throughout with minimal pipe joins. The focus of the revision is to further increase flow, and reduce restriction – in turn providing more power and torque.
The main area of improvement comes with the revised pipe section leading to the turbo inlet. A larger silicone coupler and revised CNC machined breather connection are now supplied which allow for a constant 75mm pipe diameter right up until the turbo inlet, improving volume and reducing restriction. Also included is a new DV connection with improved seal.
The intake also features a laser-cut aluminium heat-shield that ensures the filter is well insulated from ambient under-bonnet temps. The shielding is designed to seal against the underneath of the bonnet liner and utilises the ducting in the OEM grill to prevent heat-soak.
All aluminium pipework is finished in a black powder coat providing a subtle under bonnet appearance. The intake is supplied with all hardware to fit, plus a fitting guide.
