Revo software is switchable between ‘Stock’ and two performance mode using a Revo SPS.
Setting #1 on your SPS sets your vehicle to stock
Setting #2 on your SPS sets your vehicle to Revo Performance mode A (Tuned to factory standard engine capability e.g. CR110 will see circa 140hp peak in this mode as the engine is detuned from the factory)

Stage 1 software details for your VOLKSWAGEN, T5, 2.0 Common Rail (85ps)
The 2.0L Common Rail 85 is a factory detuned CR140 engine, meaning it has a huge amount of headroom. Revo software can be set to run at the equivalent of stock CR140 outputs or all singing all dancing Revo tuned CR140 outputs; adding performance and useable power without sacrificing any of the smoothness or economy of the engine.

You’ll find driving your CR more effortless than stock even when driven mildly, and more punchy when driven aggressively. The increases in torque throughout the rev range give immense flexibility in any gear, and the engine revs out to redline much more enthusiastically than stock.

Fuel economy is always a consideration when tuning your diesel. As with many things in life there are a number of variables; the biggest probably being the driver and driving style. However as our customers find out the worst case scenario is seeing like for like economy to a standard car, in many cases customers seeing as much as a 10% improvement.

The 2.0L Diesel Common Rail 84ps is the lowest output engine available for the T5 Transporter, fortunately owners of this vehicle will be pleased to learn it’s actually a factory de-tuned version of the CR140 engine also available as an option in the T5.

Revo software doesn’t just up the power levels to that of the CR140 but builds even more on the positive characturistics of the CR engine adding performance and useable power without sacrificing any of the smoothness or economy of the engine. Being de-tuned from the factory to start with the performance gains from Revo software are night and day; with double the power and a huge increase in torque the T5 becomes a very capable vehicle allowing you to fill it and tow without it struggling to get up to speed.

Stage 2 Performance Software has been specifically developed to attain the best possible performance from the 2.0CR with a bolt on performance exhaust including DPF Delete. The DPF Delete built into Stage 2 allows you to run a DPF bypass without worry of the car going into DPF regeneration mode. The Stage 2 hardware gives us more flexibility than standard components allowing us to make even more from the vehicle than stage1.
