Ford’s tiny 3 cylinder turbo engine and ‘performance’ aren’t something you’d normally associate together. With an engine footprint that would fit on a A4 piece of paper, it’s a pleasant surprise to find the Fiesta/Focus/Etc. has respectable performance when you drive it in standard form. Although it certainly doesn’t set your world alight and is more of a sensible composed car rather than sporty hatch.

Revo’s calibration development team is one of the best in the industry, but with the stigma attached to small engines like the 1.0L our expectations were relatively low. Our expertise and in-depth R&D are perfectly demonstrated with this stage1 software, as the dyno curves show and driving a Revo’d car proves Revo makes a huge difference to the capability of this little engine.

Stage1 performance software gives huge improvements in power and torque throughout the rev range, adding more flexibility and a sportier edge to the already fast spooling turbocharged engine. Power is available at the touch of the accelerator, the performance increases are noticeable whenever you want to use them and the long gearing of the manual transmission works much better with the newfound power. With our testing showing the 0-60 sprint 3 seconds quicker than in standard form this little 1.0L proves it can punch way above its weight.

Stage 2 Performance Software
All Revo performance Software is designed to safely enhance the drive-ability of your vehicle, giving access to more power and torque throughout the rev-range while maintaining the extensive factory safety mechanisms. Although Revo offer some of the most substantial performance increases on the market, peak figures form part of a much bigger picture and are never the sole focus during development. Revo Software offers a perfect balance of performance, economy, longevity and safety.

Our Stage 2 software upgrade for the 1.0 Litre EcoBoost is flashed through the ODB-II port leaving the factory ECU intact. Combined with less restrictive exhaust and intake, more efficient cooling and airflow our Stage 2 software increases the peak power up to 180bhp with over 250Nm of torque. Stage 2 software optimizes the uprated hardware and ties it altogether to make the very most out of your upgrades and offers power and Giving you increased torque and power throughout the rev range without compromising on driveability, smoothness or power delivery. Stage 2 has performance mode options suitable for varying conditions and fuel quality.

Research and Development
Testing facilities at their UK Headquarters and US Development Facility, as well as a track office at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground, Revo are able to test their products extensively on and off track. Testing products in this way is paramount to ensuring that along with more useable power and torque comes refined drive-ability, something often overlooked.

Development Vehicles
Access to vehicles is imperative to development and testing. Revo run one of the most extensive fleets in the industry, and have access to hundreds of other beta vehicles via a global Authorised Dealer Network. These vehicles not only demonstrates what is capable using Revo products, which cover thousands of miles in a multitude of climates, but also ensures that vehicles perform in any scenario, from a trip to the local shops to an epic adventure in the Alps.

On-Road Testing
Testing on a dyno will only ever tell part of the story. Revo believe in data-logging on the road and racetrack as well as testing in controlled dyno conditions, to give you a clearer picture of the performance you can expect. This plays an important role in the Revo development process, ensuring the highest quality products that perform where and when it matters most.
